PHOTO OF THE WEEK
Aug 25 I had the pleasure of drifting with Andrew Waddinton, (dad) and his 2 sons, Gordon and Evan.
The EAGle Fishing Team! We hooked at least 4 coho and 3 landed and a whole bunch bunch of pinks. Gordon had a heeartbreaker let go at the boat but he stuck with it and landed the last and biggest Coho of the day. It was a great morning during our drift! Congratulations on your catch.
Thank You for using our Guide Services.

Aug 24 I had the pleasure of drifting with Amanda and her Dad, James Wowk who are proudly holding 2 Coho they caught on our morning half Day drift. It is always refreshing to witness Dad and daughter fishing and enjoying their passion of fishing together. My official scoring was that Dad was faster in the race for the center rod. Dad was “Ninja quick”. 🙂 It was fun fishing with you and keeping score! : )
Amada and James won this Driftboat Trip participating in a Fun raiser for the Kitimat General Hospital.
I donated this Driftboat Trip at the request of my daughter, Julie, who is on the Kitimat Hospital Board.
I am proud to help in such a worthy cause and pleased that it resulted in an awesome fishing trip with you both.
Aug 23 I had the pleasure of drifting awith Naomi Point and her daughter, Rylee Jo Sura and son, Jonathan JJ Sura 😊🙏 We hooked a bunch of Pinks, one big ..ss Chinook and 2 Coho. We didn’t land everything we hooked but we are in the process of becoming an Elite Fishing Team!
Rylee and Jonathan are well on their way to becoming elite hockey players in the their respective age groups and now have their sights on becoming elite anglers! Great Job Team! Mom too!
The most improtant rule in Fishing as in hockey, is to have FUN!
It was fun fishing with you all. : )
Coach Ron! 🙂
Aug 21 Marc Girard holding a beautiful Kitimat River cutthroat and a rather not so beautiful chinook we caught on our morning drift. Marc is a very near and dear friend, a business Assoociate Guide and a lot of fun to fish with. On the top of the agenda was a whole bunch of trash talking. 🙂 Unfortunately for Marc, his hooked to landed ratio was terrible. On a scale from A to F, on this day, Marc was an F minus.
On the other hand, my score in the “trash talking scale”, I am pretty sure I scored an A plus but only because Marc gave me a lot of material to work with. : )
The moral of our story is “Life is short” Fish Lots and have a lot of Fun doing it.
I am pleased to report, “We both had a lot of fun fishing together!” :
Aug 21 Aiden McCormick got this beautiful Coho on a 1/2 oz purple Thunder jig. Aiden is a staff member of Ron’s Fishing Tackle Shop’s team. Thunder Jigs are exclusive to Ron’s Fishing Tackle Shop.
They have been approved by the fish. The proof is in the picture!
