KITIMAT RIVER

Sept 3 Reliable Guide and Charters’ Pro Guide, Marc Girard  fished with Don Madraga, Elnor and Don Zwozdeslley.  They hooked a bunch of Pinks but managed to land this Coho

 

Sept 4 Chris Longdon, Thomas Duyndam and Wayde Mills fished with Pro Guide, Marc Girard.  They landed these 2 beautiful Coho.
Congratulations Guys!  These “Gents”  originally from Australia barbecued their catch and loved it. They used lemon, thyme,butter,garlic, onion,salt and olive oil. Bon Apetite!

 Sept 7 Auggie Penner photoed 2nd one above and Pete from Ontario caught these 2 Coho on the gravel bar below the Hatchery.

Auggie grew up fishing in Kitimat and Pete is an avid angler from Ontario.  It is refreshing to watch 2 anglers from different ends of Canada share the enjoyment of fishing Coho on the Kitimat River.  Well done Guys!

Sept 8 Edwin Empinado caught these 2 beautiful Coho this morning on the gravel bar below the Kitimat Hatchery.  Edwin certainly looks happy with his catch.  The “Lucky High Five strikes again!”.  Congratulations Edwin and Thank You for sharing your photo with our Fishing Report.
Sept 8 YoungGreysyn is proudly holding the Coho he caught fishing with his Dad, Terry Shuman and our Pro Guide, Dan Patchett.
The smile on Greysyn’s face says it all.  It is always nice to watch the excitement of a youngster when catches his first Coho.  Well done Greysyn!  Congratulations!  Great Job Dan!
