Oct 5
I had the pleasure of drifting with Rob Jardine and his son, Kane.  We hooked and landed these Kitimat River Coho drifting the middle section of the Kitimat.  Congratulations Rob and Kane and Thank You for using our Guiding Services.  It was fun fishing with you both.
Anyone wishing to Book a Driftboat Trip on the Kitimat River, please call Ron 250 632 1275 or email wakita@telus.net

Oct 6 Corey Wakita proudly holding a Coho he caught drifting the middle section of the Kitimat River.  Corey was using a Gibbs Copper 2/3oz Ironhead spoon fishing with his fishing partner, Mathias.  Congratulations Corey.  Well done!

SUMMARY
As the colour of the leafs change colour on the trees so do the Coho change to their spawning colours.  Fewer and fewer fresh silver Coho are migrating into the Kitimat River.  This is typical for this time of year.
Anglers are reminded that Coho closes for retention on Oct 31st so smart money says get out and catch them now
