Summary
It appears that the Pink return is not as strong as we have enjoyed the couple of years. We have has exceptional weather and the Kitimat River is very low and clean. Most of the fish are being caught during the early morning bite. There has been the odd evening bite in a few holes in the lower Kitimat but the morning fishery has been more productive. Chum fishing has been steady on specific holes on the lower Kitimat River. The island across from the Hatchery and the gravel bar below the Hatchery has been the most productive runs.
