PHOTO OF THE WEEK;  Aug 15:  I had the pleasure of fishing with Gino Odjeck and Peter Leech.  Gino Odjeck, Peter Leech and Bryan Trottier were in Kitimat participating in a Road Hockey Tournament hosted by the Haisla Nation Council. My son, Corey was in the other Driftboat with Adrian Mercer and Athan representing the HNC.  We had a lot of fun catching Pinks and Corey's boat landed a Coho.  Peter and Gino very graciously donated their catch to a family in the Kitimaat Village who recently lost a loved one. Very commendable. Thank You to Gino and Peter for the great fun and hockey stories. Thank You to the Haisla Nation Council for enlisting our Guide Services.    ...

PHOTO OF THE WEEK KITIMAT RIVER:  Ramona from Switzerland holding a very bright COHO she caught fishing with Diego and Claudio.  'It was her first big fish ever, and also her first "Canada-fish". PHOTO OF THE WEEK: Anastasia, Ellie and my son, Corey are proudly holding a very large Chinook hooked on Anastasia's rod and landed with the R.A.C.E. Fishing Team. (R for Ron, A for Anastasia's, C for Corey and E for Ellie).  This was Anastasia's first salmon fishing trip and she hooked this large Chinook and landed 2 Pinks. I think this was a "Great start to Ana's Fishing Career!"   Ellie also kept 2 Pinks.  Awesome Fishing Trip Team !  Well done!
