Summary
The Kitimat River has been is excellent condition this week.. The Kitimat River has been exceptionally low and clean and quite a few Coho have been caught. There have been many bright Coho caught but there are more and more Coho turning to spawning colours. Higher than normal numbers of the “Blue Backs” (Coho between 30 and 50 cms) have been reposted been caught. This is a positive indicator of Coho returns for next year.
