KITIMAT RIVER PHOTO OF THE WEEK: Erin holding a 16lb Coho she landed fishing with her favorite fishing partner, Marc Girard. It is refreshing to see Pro Guide, Marc Girard doing some personal fishing with Erin. Congratulations Erin! Well done Marc!

Pinks, Chum and Chinook are in various stages of spawning colours. There a still a few bright Pinks showing up but most of the Chinook and Chum have turned to their spawning colours.
We have some growing high tides which peak early next week which should bring more fresh, bright and sliver Coho into the Kitimat River.
Early Coho catch results on the KItimat River have been very good especially for this time of the year. Hopefully this trends continue into the peak of the Coho run. Time will tell but many of us are pleased with what we have witnessed so far.
