Summary
The Kitimat River was in great shape most of the week and lots of Steelhead were caught through out the the entire system. We received some rain on the weekend and there were mixed catch results over the weekend. Most anglers did well Saturday but on Sunday, conditions were tougher and catch rates were not as good..
All launch sites are open and clear to launch pontoons, rafts and driftboats and Big Spruce is clear to take out.
Anglers are reminded that on April 1st 2019, new Fresh water licenses are required. Don’t forget to renew your fishing licenses.
There are some regulation changes for trout and salmon on the Kitimat River for the 2019 season. I will post these changes to our website www.reliableguideandcharters.com as soon as I receive the official Public Notices.

Summary
Not much to report this week. Windy forecast followed by rain detered most boaters from fishing this weekend.
Many boaters are just getting ready for the upcoming season while others have already been out crabbing and prawning.
Bottom fishing, prawn, dungeness and King Crab will the target species in the next coming weeks.
There are some regulations changes for Halibut and Salmon for the 2019 season. I will post to this Fishing Reports as sonn as obtain the official Public Notices.
