Summary

The Kitimat River was in great shape most of the week and lots of Steelhead were caught through out the the entire system.  We received some rain on the weekend and there were mixed catch results over the weekend.  Most anglers did well Saturday but on Sunday, conditions were tougher and catch rates were not as good..
All launch sites are open and clear to launch pontoons, rafts and driftboats and Big Spruce is clear to take out.
Anglers are reminded that on April 1st 2019, new Fresh water licenses are required.  Don’t forget to renew your fishing licenses.
There are some regulation changes for trout and salmon on the Kitimat River for the 2019 season.  I will post these changes to our website www.reliableguideandcharters.com as soon as I receive the official Public Notices.
