KITIMAT RIVER PHOTO OF THE WEEK:  2022 July 17 Young Amaya and her Dad, Ryan Yamada provided this photo and comments, "This Pink was caught on the jig you gave her. We had been fishing for an hour with no luck when Amaya finally got sick of being Skunked and demanded we use the "lucky one Ron gave us" and no joke, 2nd or 3rd cast with it and we got a fish." Something she will hopefully never forget, Amaya was using Ron's Tackle Shop's exclusive 1/2 oz.  Pink Thunder Jig.           PHOTO OF THE WEEK KITIMAT RIVER Dan Patchett's Celebration of Life was held July 2nd at Dan's favorite camping spot at the Big Spruce Bar and on July 3rd down the Douglas Channel. As per Dan's wishes his ashes were placed in the Kitimat River in the presences of Dan's family and close friends. Dan very was a very talented angler who loved to share his passion of fishing with his family, friends and with Reliable Guide and Charter clients. DOUGLAS CHANNEL PHOTO OF THE WEEK June 25 Desiree and her father, Curtis Neuraumont provided this photo and comment, "During this trip to Douglas Channel Trevor, Jake, Desiree and Curtis saw humpbacks, bald eagles, and seals basking.  We set our lines in 150ft of water and trolled with both spoons and anchovies. We hooked up with six Chinook, two hatchery coho, and one pink salmon, with anchovies behind the “sooke special” being the most popular. On the way back we pulled our traps and they were full with large Dungeness crab" Congratulations Everyone!  Thank You for sharing your pictures and experience with our Fishing Report.
