Summary

The Pink Fishery is starting to slow down but not before it created at lot of enjoyment for many anglers.  It was indeed a pleasure to watch, observe and report the many family groups who participated in this year’s Pink fishery.  The Pink fishery created some very special and memorable moments. Coho are starting to be caught and the early signs are looking like we can look forward to a good Coho season.

Summary

Halibut fishing continues to be excellent in the Douglas Channel.  For many anglers, this season has produced their First Halibut.  It is an awesome fish to catch and one that every angler should experience at least once in their fishing career. Coho fishing is back on track after a Commercial Fishery interrupted the fishing for a couple of days. Coho are starting to be caught in the the Kitimat Harbour. This is an excellent time to be fishing the Douglas Channel!
