We consider ourselves truly blessed to live in among of some of the best fishing on the Coast of British Columbia. We operate our Guide and Charter Services in the midst of some of the most pristine and scenic surroundings in the world and we would be honored to share our corner of fishing paradise with any and all who request our services.
Reliable Guide and Charters and our associates possess a wealth of local knowledge and experience of fishing in the Kitimat River and the Douglas Channel that is unsurpassed in Kitimat.
Reliable Guide and Charters has three river guides who were born and raised in Kitimat. Ron Wakita, Mike Herzberg and Ariel Kuppers grew up fishing in the Kitimat area. Ferd Bouzane and Wes Owens, two of our Saltwater Skippers have fished the Douglas Channel for over forty years. All of our guides and associates share a communal love and passion for fishing and all of our guides brings their own special qualities to the Reliable Guide and Charters TEAM. They all are personable individuals committed to providing our clients with enjoyable, as well as productive fishing experiences.
